Simple scripting tutorial

Scripting is a simple and easy way to make your PC experience more convenient. Small scripts are simple to create, and take no time at all to activate. We will start by creating a simple 1 line of code script. Start by creating a new notepad file on your desktop by right clicking and going to New > Text File.

Open the file and enter 1 line of simple code as follows: ipconfig /flushdns (see figure 2)

Once you have completed this, Click file, save as and name it DNS Flush.bat, click the dropdown arrow beneath the filename box and click all files. Congratulations, you have now made a simple DNS flush script! Every time you internet browser is running slow or displaying a DNS error, just double click on the DNS Flush.bat file and your page will load again. This is activated by clearing your DNS cache which gets backed up with hours of browsing, and normally refreshes every 15mins or so. Saving you that time to get right back into surfing the web.
